I do agree that this loudness war has gotten out of hand, since volume knobs were made adjustable for a reason. I'm not sure how the modification in loudness has gotten one artist heard over another however, I'd put that down to mega-radio stations playing whatever Auto-tuned over-synthesised shit comes flying through the window next, but the loudness tends to butcher what could've been great albums. Death Magnetic for one would've sounded a lot better if it hadn't been subjected to the process, Metallica don't seem to get the term "less is more". But it does have to stop. I think the problem is corporations can tend to exercise too much control over something, and end up alienating their target audience (like with their constant lawsuit machine swinging left, right and centre.), when good music should be consumed not because of how noticable it is but because of it's quality. If only media had a decent "bullshit quality control" scheme, then the likes of Horne & Corden, Lady Gaga and all the rest of the flash in the pans can F.O.D until we come full circle again.

I think what pisses me off the most about social networking is how ghastly looking some profiles are. Filled with neon colours, flashing texts and a big obnoxious logo reading U CANT HANDLE DIS, with a photo of a girl in the almost pitying fat girl angle shot.

You see this and the only thought that you think is a loud scream. It's also at this point where you throw everything off your mental desk in a dramatic "office worker gone crazy" fashion and proceed to destroy all who stand in your way. Obviously this doesn't happen IRL, but it's how the above profiles make me feel.

I also have one retarded comment to make. MAC BOOK AIR DOESN'T NEED A DISC DRIVE LOL.
